Born Oct. 29, 1931, in Yeagertown, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Hazel (Deamer) Moyer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry T. “Tom” Lynn, on Nov. 2, 2005; and four brothers, Milton, Donald, Melvin and Ralph Jr. Moyer.
Peggy is survived by: her children, Gregory T. Lynn and wife, JoAnn, of Reedsville, Kathy J. Shirk and husband, Donald, of Burnham, and Denise E. Hassinger and husband, Harry, of Lewistown; six grandchildren, Amy Miller, Amy Seese, Joy Fultz, Joe Shirk, Lee Shirk and Lisa Lynn; 13 great-grandchil- dren; five great-great- grandchildren; and her sister, Loneta Smith, of Belleville.
Peggy graduated from Chief Logan High School and was a member of Church Hill United Methodist Church, Reedsville.
In her earlier years, she was employed at Fisher Electronics and at the former Arrow Shirt Factory. She later worked in housekeeping at Lewistown Hospital, retiring in 1994.
Peggy enjoyed quilting with her family and friends and making doughnuts on Fasnacht Day. She spent a lot of time with her family and adored her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 21, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Savilla Peachey officiating.
