Carol Marie Paredes, age 67, died on December 22, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1950 to Peter and Stella Kamarat.
Carol grew up Catholic, loved animals and enjoyed painting. After graduating high school she met and married the love of her life, Anthony Paredes and had five children. She is preceded in death by her parents. Carol will be remembered for her Pillar of Strength and love for her family. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Anthony; children, Jamespaul, Anthony D., John (Kaylen), Peter (Rebekah) and Stephaniejean (Wayne); grandchildren, Kennedy, John, Daniel, Nolan, Annemarie, Savannah, Kamillyajean; and brother, Frank Kamarat (Martha).
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.
Catholic Church Services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 10472 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32246. Interment will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.
