Funeral services for Mrs. Maude Abshire, wife of Floyd Abshire, Duck Run, who died last Saturday night, were held Tuesday at two o'clock from the Duck Run Church. Interment was made at Rushtown Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Floyd Abshire, four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Hinkley andMrs. Clara Roe of Portsmouth, Mrs, Arlene Crabtree and Miss Mildred Abshire at home, two sons, Fred and Harry Matthews, a sister Mrs. Clara Sperry of Kentucky, four brothers, Edward Bell of Kentucky, Carey and Charles Bell of Portsmouth and James Bell of Orville. A daughter, Miss Nellie Matthews, died about five weeks ago.
