A funeral service for Billie Jean Petri, age 84, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 10 o’clock in the morning Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Andy Calcote and Rev. Vernon Lee officiating. She will be laid to rest at Meador Cemetery.

Mrs. Petri passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 in Jacksonville.

Jean was born June 18, 1933 in Jacksonville to Lewis Pate and Eula Caveness Thompson

She was a member of First Baptist Church, a Beta Sigma Phi Sorority member and was active with the Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Mack Petri and a granddaughter, Heather Folden.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Patti Calcote and husband Andy, Terri Folden and husband Larry all of Jacksonville; sons, Lewis Petri and wife Tracie of the Colony, Carl Petri and wife Debra of Jacksonville; 8 grandchildren, Corrie and Chris Synder, Chris and Tiara Calcote, Lauren and Ryan Earle, Ryan Petri, Luke Petri, Katie Petri, Alexandra Petri; and 4 great grandchildren, Kellierae, Andieleigh, Blane and Jaxon.

Pallbearers will be Chris Snyder, Chris Calcote, Ryan Earle and Ryan Petri. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Luke Petri and Kirk Sadler

Visitation will begin on Monday, October 2, 2017 and friends are cordially invited to visit with the Petri’s family from 5 to 7 o’clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
