Graveside services for Mary Loyce Winn, 85, of San Antonio, formerly of Brownwood, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, in the Mukewater Cemetery with Bill Slaymaker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

She died Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, in a San Antonio care center.

She was born in Emory, to Robert and Ruth Holmes Horsley. The widow of Brooks “Skinny” Winn, she is survived by her daughter, LaTrece O’Connor, granddaughter, Stephanie Whiting, a sister, Ann Howel, a brother, Joe Horsley and wife Dorothy, and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Doug and Ches Horsley and two sisters, Ouida Pitner and Jewel Chandler.

She will be deeply missed and will be remembered in our hearts always.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Fl., New York, NY 10001.
