Celebration of life for Michael “Mike” Keith Allen, 61, of Kirbyville, will be held at 2 p.m. July 2, 2017, at The River Church in Forsyth. Cremation is under the direction of Holden Cremation and Funeral Service in Sparta.

He died June 24, 2017, at his home in Kirbyville.

Mike was born July 13, 1955, in Springfield, son of Clebran and Juanita “Shorty” Allen but lived his whole life on Bear Creek Road in Taney County, near Reeds Spring, MO. He was well-known in his community and owned a landscaping company for many years.

He was preceded in death by his father; and brother Bill Allen.

Survivors include his mother; his wife Connie Allen; sons Jeremy Allen and Elizabeth, Ryan Allen and Jessica; their mother Vicki Allen; his wife’s sons and daughters, Miranda Lathim, Ches Lathim, Ashley Lawson and Cecil and Matt Lathim; siblings Sharon Davis and Mark, Terry Reed and Steve and Larry Allen; and several grandchildren.
