Justin Lee Padgett, 41, joined his heavenly family early Tuesday morning, August 29, 2017, passing away in his Lubbock home after a lengthy illness.

Justin went to Monterey High School and graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry from Texas State University. Justin had a passion for tennis, achieving state ranking in high school. A member of Boy Scout Troop 157, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. His lifelong love of animals culminated in finding his best friend, Lady, a rescue dog who became the namesake of his real estate brokerage firm, Black Dog Real Estate. Justin's dream was to help as many people as he could. After achieving a degree in ministry, he devoted much time to the study of naturopathy and founded the company Living Waters Center of Natural Health in Lubbock.

Justin was preceded in death by his brother, Leo Robbins Padgett, Jr. in 1974. He is survived by his parents, Leo and Elizabeth Padgett of Lubbock, Texas, his sister, Christie Padgett Hirst of San Antonio, Texas and Christie's husband, John, and Justin's two nephews, Jordan and Jacob Hirst. His love of family included his aunts, uncles and countless cousins.

Justin will be greatly missed by so many people that he touched. We know his spirit will live on forever. Because of his faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Justin is now whole and at peace. ". . . by his wounds, are healed." Isaiah 53:5 NIV
