Francis "Frank" X. McGuire 77 of Monroe Twp. died Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013 at the Medical Center at Princeton, Plainsboro. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. McGuire lived in Brooklyn, Whiting, NJ and the Ponds at Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. before moving to the Rossmoor community in Monroe Twp. in 2005. He retired in 1989 after 35 years as an educator and principal (P.S. 314, Brooklyn) for the N.Y.C. Board of Education. Mr. McGuire was a veteran of the US Army.
He was a parishioner of St. James RC Church, Jamesburg. In the Rossmoor community, he vice president of Mutual One, a member of the finance committee, the Emerald Society, the Irish-American Club, the Italian-American Club, and the Catholic Society. He was also active in the RCAI in the Rossmoor community. Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Marie DiNardi McGuire, his son Craig of Staten Island, his daughter Susan of Washington, NJ, his brother Robert of East Hampton, NY, his sister Barbara Ambre of Wilmington, NC and six grandchildren Bailey Cahill, Natalie and Sophia Boyd, Francis X., Fiona and Antonio McGuire.
