Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Dr. John Bridwell, minister emeritus of First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.
Mr. Baskin was born in Clarendon and had lived in Amarillo for most of his life. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1936 and Fleming's Business College in 1938.
He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was the manager of Glazer Wholesale Drug Co. and had worked for the company for 37 years before his retirement in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, in 1992.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia Crouch of Dallas; a sister, Tillie Paramore of Louisville, Ky.; a granddaughter, Meredith Crouch of Dallas; a grandson, Brent Crouch and wife, Celia, of Eugene, Ore.; and two nieces, Judy Taylor of Louisville and Peggy Killingsworth of Mesquite.
The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174; or to BSA Hospice and Life Enrichment Center, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
