Morris Franklin Brown, 84, of Evant passed on to be with our Lord on August 5, 2017. Memorial Services will be held at First United Methodist Church in Goldthwaite on August 20, 2017 at 3:30pm.

Morris was born October 12, 1932 in Evant, Texas, the son of Henry Milton Brown and Eva Gertrude Marshall Brown. He graduated from Evant, Texas. He entered the United States Air Force and served in Korea. During his early years he worked at General Tire, in Waco, Texas and his later years enjoyed farming. He attended First United Methodist Church of Goldthwaite.

He was preceded In death by his parents; his wife, Bonnie Jones Brown; four sisters, Geraldine Brown Evans, Quida Brown Green, Mildred Brown Parrish, Nadine Brown Thorne; and five brothers, James Arelon Brown, Kenneth Earl Brown, Harold Milton Brown, Bob Lee Brown, and Ray Van Brown; his son, Robert Brown and daughter, Belinda McAnally.

Morris is survived by his brother, Billy Mac Brown and sister, Polly Brown Cummings; his daughters, Janet Shedd, Marsha Turner and Marlene Haman; grandchildren, Monica Andrews, Misty Gann, Michelle Neal, Chris Niemann, Kniesha Rocha, Jaycen Tanner, Michael Haman, and Ryan Haman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
