Carlene went to be with her Lord at the age of 84 on May 9, 2017. She was born in Dallas, Tx to Carl & Dalphna Lepeard. She gradated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas,TX. She married Bobbie Lee Bailey on August 24, 1950 in Dallas,TX. Bob & Carlene purchased property in Palestine, TX in 1973 & moved to Palestine in 1983. She began working at First Baptist Church in Palestine in 1983 where she treasured every minute until she retired in 1996. Carlene also loved her time as a member of the handbell choir at First Baptist Church. She is servived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Bob Bailey; daughter Brinda Wagner of Gun Barrel City; daughter, Cindy Brodhead of Palestine. She will be remembered by her 8 grandchildren & 6 great-children.
