David Luke Gregory, 75, of Columbus, GA died Saturday July 30, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday August 1, 2011 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with burial to follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
Mr. Gregory was born November 4, 1935 in Camilla, GA son of the late Osco Garrett Gregory and Florida Pitts Gregory. He was a retired truck driver with Tom's Foods, a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and a member of Edgewood Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sybil Brinkley Gregory of Columbus, his children, Edwin Daniel Gregory of Columbus, Charles Anthony Gregory of Sharpsburg, GA, Debbie Lynn Johnson of Columbus, Rebecca Faye Albritton of Monroe, GA Bobby Dwayne Gregory of Columbus, Teresa Jane Brock of Columbus, 3 sisters, Sally Gregory Howell of Camilla, GA, Mattie Gregory St. John of Tifton, GA, Glenda Gregory Wilbanks of Aiken, SC, 3 brothers, Edward Gregory of Bonaire, GA, Wendell Gregory of Tifton, GA, Harold Gregory of Albany, GA, 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
