Richard Allen Gohr Sr., 68, of Shepherd, Texas passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. He was born on Saturday, September 04, 1948 in Houston Texas to Robert and Mary Ann (Inglis) Gohr, both of whom have preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Richard Allen Gohr Jr; daughter, Annette Rathgeber and husband John; brother Doug Gohr; nieces, Juanita Goedde and Tammy Niekamp; grandchildren, Destini Williams, Cody Gohr, Caleb Rathgeber and Whitney Rathgeber; great grandson, Jacob Sweeney as well as numerous great nieces, nephews and other loving family and treasured friends. Richard served our Country in United States Army from 1969 to 1970 where he fought in Vietnam. Visitation for Richard will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Service will be at Neal Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 23 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at the Houston National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
