Mrs. Watts was a bowling enthusiast and a member of the Blackwell Women's bowling Association. She was on the 1981 champion team, sponsored by Kay Electric Cooperative, winning in tournament play. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Watts had been employed as cost clerk for Armour Packing Company at the local plant until its closing. She was born May 20, 1923, in Wilson and grew up there and in Russett. On December 11, 1943, she married Bill L. Watts in Oklahoma City and they settled in the Ardmore area until coming to Blackwell in 1953.
Survivors are her husband, Bill; one daughter, Mrs Judy Webb, Mannsville; one son, Larry Wayne Watts, Blackwell; one grandchilc; two sisters, Mrs Letha Dry and Mrs Mary McAlister, both of Mannsville and a brother, Sylvester May of Tishomingo.
Three brothers, Carmen May, Hardy May and Curtis may, preceded her in death.
