Goodyear retiree, Carroll Lee Michael, of 701 N. Sheridan Drive, passed away on Tuesday, following a short illness in Barberton Citizens Hospital. He was 71.
Born in Beverly, West Virginia, he lived in the area 27 years, retiring six years ago as a tire builder with Goodyear. A Mason, Mr. Michael was a member of Mount Akra Lodge No. 680 and Masonic Golden Years Club.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Opperman Michael; one daughter, Audrey June Hine (1928-2015) and her husband, Clayton F. Hine (1927-2017); plus one brother, Lucien Michael of Stewart, Florida; and two sisters, Mrs. Isobelle Whitmore, Broadway, Virginia and Mrs. Gordon Hughes, Deerfield Beach, Florida.
