Letha married Robert William Tune of Ovilla on November 22, 1925. They had one son, Robert LeaMond Tune of Ovilla and a stillborn baby daughter. "Kelly", as Letha dubbed her husband, and she ran a barber and dry cleaning business in Ovilla for many years.
She was a lifelong member of the Ovilla Methodist Church. Letha was an excellent seamtress, could sew anything without a pattern. She saved the flour sacks for my sister and I to pick from and would make us the cutest sundresses from them. She could make anything from "scratch". Some of her homemade lye soap was purchased for use as a prop in the movie "Places of the Heart".
Her life lessons with her grandmother taught her to be self sufficient, strong of faith, hard working and a loving woman. May you rest in peace Granny Letha. I will love & miss you always & remember the last song you sang to me! Your first grandchild, Gloria Jeanne
