Mr. Cismas was born Jan. 15, 1898, in Arpasul De Sus, Judetul Fagaras, Romania, a son of Avram and Rafira Viola Cismas, and came to Youngstown in 1913 from Europe. He was a foreman in the spike factory of Republic Steel Corp., where he had worked for 50 years. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church.
His wife, the former Irfira Popa, whom he married Nov. 23, 1924, died Feb. 13, 1964.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Olivia Ennis of Kent; a brother, Valeri of Boardman; two sisters, Maria and Anne of Europe; and a granddaughter.
