Funeral services for Alkie Lee Lemaster Bevins, 73, route 1, Louisa, were conducted Saturday, October 6 in the Georges Creek United Baptist Church, with Elders Flem Arrowood, Charlie Arrington and Glen Sturgill officiating. Burial was in Sparks Cemetery at Blaine. Mrs. Bevins died Wednesday, October 3, at J. J. Jordan Geriatric Center following an extended illness. She was born April 7, 1917, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Zora Fitch Lemaster. She was a member of the Georges Creek United Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Aubrey Bevins; three daughters, Ireda Scarberry, of Pataskla, OH; Reneca Ann McKinster of Versailles, and Carol Sue Green of Orient, OH; three sisters, Erlene Clay of Grayson, Gladys Bayes of Springfield, OH and Luda Preston of Grove City, OH; two brothers, Hobert and Marshall Lemaster, both of Ashland; and four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
