HILDA VIRGINIA BENNETT

Passed away peacefully February 5, 2005, at her home in Redwood City at the age of 83 years.

She was born March 28, 1921, and lived in Redwood City since she was three years old. Hilda attended Sequoia High School.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Edward Ernest Bennett, her three cherished children, Nancy Holder of Hollister, Calif., Edward Bennett Jr. of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Tony Bennett of Valley Springs, Calif., her two brothers, Jack and Joe Nunes of Redwood City, and sister Clarenda Jones of Los Angeles, Calif. She is also survived by 8 dear grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit Friday, February 11, 2005, from 4 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a vigil service at 7 p.m. at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City, and the funeral Mass on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Fulton and James Streets, Redwood City. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Los Altos.
