Early Life: Fred was born July 4, 1932, in Payson, Utah, to Frederick Ephraim Neil Sr. and Lillian Alita Andreason Neil. He graduated from Payson High School.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: He started out working as a sheepherder. He then joined in the United States Army. Later, he became an Auxiliary Police Officer. He worked at Geneva Steel for 30 years. Following his retirement, he became a janitor. Fred married May Gene Peay and had five children together; they were later divorced. He also married Lynn Beall, she passed away. He also married Marilyn Lea Adams, she has also passed away. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was well-known at Utah Lake, everyone knew his boat and camper. He had many adventures traveling the state of Utah. Bud was a fun and adventurous guy. He was loved by all who knew him. Fred is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Frederick Edmondson "Fred" Neil Jr., of Payson, Utah, passed away April 19, 2017, at his home. He was 84.
Survived By: His children: Bobbie Neil, James (Debbie) Neil, Sean (Katya) Neil and Jodi (Brad) Zobell; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; his two sisters: Lorae Thomas and Marcia Jones.
Preceded In Death By: His three wives, parents, sons: Tony Neil and John Tracy Neilsister; and sister, Janice McKell.
