When this memorial was first transferred to me I did a bit of research on the Tx.TVT 19 Field Arty.5th Div. in hopes to figure out if the only date on the stone was a birth or death date and found that the Div. he was in was active during the WWI, WWII, and Vietnam Wars. Now to narrow it down.. if the date had been a birth date then he would have served in WWII at the age of 10 or so... if he was born in 1934 he would have been to old to have served in Vietnam War so it could be pretty safe to say that the date on Lee L Stewart's stone was not born in 1934 but died in 1934.
His full name was Thomas Lee Lipscomb Stewart but most called him Lee.
He was the son of Roland Matthew and Mollie Jo Lipscomb Stewart and Ora May and Herbert Stewart would be his brother and sister, other Stewarts whose graves are also in this cemetery are related as well.

The death certificate for Lee Stewart, son of Roland Matthew and Mollie Jo Lipscomb Stewart shows that his name is Lipscomb Lee that his birth date was August 5th 1890 in Colmesneil, Texas. It also says that he was 43, single, died on April 22, 1934 and was buried on April 23, 1934...

The military marker was ordered by J. J. Spurlock who was his brother in law Jessie Jefferson Spurlock husband of his sister, Myrtie Bell Stewart.
