Grace Ratcliff-Wright, 93, of Old Bramwell Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Princeton Health Care. She had been a resident of Bluefield for all of her life and was a member of Brushfork United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir.

Born on May 6, 1923 in Matoaka, she was a daughter of the late John Floyd Ratcliff (1877-1947) and Roxie Geneva Robbins-Ratcliff (1888-1964). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Clyne Wright, Sr. (1927-2001); and her siblings, Daniel "Danny" Ervin Ratcliff (1908-1992), Earnest Edward Ratcliff (1909-1970), James "Marvin" Ratcliff Sr. (1902-1994), Ezra "Sidney" Ratcliff (Deceased), John Garland Ratcliff (1924-2011), Allen Elsworth Ratcliff (1920-2011), Effie Adlee Ratcliff-Goodwin (Deceased), Sylvia Harry Ratcliff (Deceased), and Alice May Ratcliff-Ellison (1928-2009). She was the last surviving member of her family.

Survivors include her son, Bernard Clyne Wright, Jr. (B. 1942) and wife Evelyn Irene Day-Wright (B. 1946) of Bluefield, VA; her daughter, Sharon Wright-Neece of Bluefield; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Steve Rector officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton
