Reba Annette Fry, 75, passed away on 20 March 2017 in Denton, Texas. She was born on 11 October 1941 in Round Rock, Texas to Robert and Adeline Paton Julian. She married the love of her life Joe P. Fry on 25 May 1963 in Denton, Texas.

Annette was a T.W.U. alumna and a member of the Denton County Historical Society. She was very active in local/state politics and was an active member of the Denton Republican Women's Club where she once served as their president. If it were not for Annette, many would never been elected to office.

Annette ensured that any office holder found derelict in their duties or that disgraced the office they held, were ousted in subsequent elections. She played a pivotal role in the ouster of a disgraced, former Denton County Justice Court "Judge" (JP-1) in 2004, thereby returning that office to honorable dignity. The Honorable Judge Joe Holland continues to hold that office with dignity, compassion and grace. Annette retired from Allstate Insurance after serving as an agent for 30+ years.

Annette is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joe P. Fry, daughter, Sally A. Fry of Denton and brother, Roy Julian.

A Graveside service was held for Annette on Thursday, 23 March 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Old Alton Cemetery in Denton.

We will miss her forever.
