EDNA H. BOWER

Tuckerton - On August 21, at her home at 115 Church St, following a lingering illness at the age of 53.

She is survived by her husband, James D.; one son, James, Jr.; one daughter, Brenda, all of Tuckerton; 4 half-brothers, Robert, Morton, James, all of Corning, NY, and Donald, Fair Oaks, California; 2 half-sisters, Laura Heichel, Corning, NY and Leila Ames, Monterey, NY; her step-father, Robert Gross, Wellsboro, PA, and 2 grandchildren.

Mrs. Bower was a member of the Tuckerton Methodist Church, Past Matron of Tuckerton Chapter #54 of the O.E.S., member of the Toms River White Shrine of Jerusalem, member of the Ocean County Tuberculosis Ass'n.

Funeral services Wednesday 2 p.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, Main St., Tuckerton with the Rev. John Stroman officiating.

Interment to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.

Viewing was Tuesday night.
