Freddie Jean Adams of Marks, 49, died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of heart failure.
Services were Thursday, July 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Queen M. B. Church in Marks, where she was a member, with the Rev. Bernard Handy officiating. Interment was in Booker Cemetery. Delta Burial Corporation of Marks had charge.
Born March 10, 1959, in Marks, she was a teacher. She was a graduate of Quitman County High School and Mississippi Valley State University.
She is survived by a son, Jimmy Adams of Marks; her mother, Vassie Butler of Marks; and three brothers, Milton Butler of Batesville, Mack Butler of Decatur, GA, and David Butler of Marks.
