Don Carroll was born on February 24, 1947, to the late D.S. and Arline (Fore) Carroll in Brownfield, Texas.

He graduated from Meadow High School and attended South Plains College.

On February 24, 1968, he married the love of his life, Pam Tudor in Brownfield. Don farmed in Meadow his entire life and took great pride in his land. He devoted all he had to his farm and his family.

Don was a member of the Meadow Co-op Gin Board, Meadow Lion’s Club, Terry County Appraisal District Board, Meadow Cemetery Board, PYCO Industries Board and South Plains Church of Christ. He also served as Past President of the Meadow School Board. Don had a depth of love for Pam that was a testimony to his family and friends. When his grandchildren were born, he affectionately became known as Grampy. His family was the center of his life and he always loved participating in his grandchildren’s activities. Don also enjoyed golf, spending time at Possum Kingdom Lake, and playing dominoes.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Pam; three children, Cody Carroll and wife, Amy of Krum; Keely Perkins and Cass Carroll both of Lubbock; five grandchildren Cailee Carroll, Cole Fontenot, Alexis Carroll, Carlie Carroll, and Chloe Carroll; two sisters, Janelda Cabe of Lubbock, and Jackie Smith and husband James of Meadow; and his mother-in-law, Mattie Tudor of Brownfield .
