Mr Ostermeyer had been a production coordinator for Uniroyal Tire Co for 34 years, retiring in 1974
He was active in the American Legion and was a charter and life-time member of Robert E Linehan Post. He also had been a commander of the post twice. He was a past commander of the 11th district American Legion. He also was active in the Legion Bowling League. He was a member of Centre Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Uniroyal Oldtimers Club.
Mr Ostermeyer was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Services will be at 1 pm Tuesday in Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel with calling after 2 PM Monday.
Survivors: wife Lola May Ostermeyer, stepson Ralph W Gray, stepdaughter Patsy L Worley; also 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. Brother of Miss Leona Ostermeyer.
