NILES--Thomas R. Sosebee, 79, of 115 S. State St., died at 9:20 a.m. today in Pawating Hospital, after a short illness.

A retied foreman at Ball Band, Mishawaka, Mr. Sosebee was born April 14, 1890, in Georgia, and had lived here for 45 years, coming from his place of birth. He married the former Kate Dalenberg, who preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 1967. He was a member of the St. Joseph Valley Lodge, No. 4, F and AM and the Modern Woodmen.

Mr. Sosebee is survived by a son, Thomas R. Jr., Bath, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. LeRoy Felhauer, Niles; two brothers, Nixon, Atlanta, Ga. and Howard, Bremen, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Roy Wells, Temple, Ga. and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Pifer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenneth Carey of the Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Westminster Presbyterian Church.
