Floyd Wayne Midkiff was born August 14,1948, to the late Lillie Mae (Lambright) Midkiff and William Payton Midkiff in Lubbock, Texas. Floyd served in the Marine Corps for almost two years and served in the Vietnam War and returned home when his mother died.

He was a police officer in Rush Springs and Wynnewood. He was also a firefighter in Marlow. He loved to play his guitar and sing with his brother Jim.

He is survived by his son Patrick Wayne Midkiff. As well as his four sisters, Donna Killough and husband Jack of Bethany, Ok, Karla Logue of Foster, Ok, Dorothy Smith and husband Marvin of Marlow, OK, and Vanessa Lauderdale and husband Brian of Marlow, Ok. Also, survived by two brothers Grady Lauderdale of Marlow, Ok and Melvin Keeling and wife Mary of Chickasha, Ok. Also, survived by numerous nieces, nephews and loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lillie Mae Keeling and Calvin Keeling SR, his brothers Stephen Lauderdale, Jim Midkiff, Glen Midkiff, and Calvin Keeling Jr. He loved and was loved by his family.
