Farron Jerome Morsette, “Hido Haa Naydz” (He Went Through Here), 28, Parshall, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Parshall. Farron was born November 10, 1988 to Julia (Smith) Fox and George Morsette Sr. in Minot. He was a member of the Lowcap Clan. Farron was given his Indian name by Delvin Driver Sr. He lived most of his life in Parshall. He spent a brief period of time in Bismarck.
Farron attended his early school years in Bismarck, before returning to Parshall at the age of seven. He attended Parshall School until he decided to obtain his GED at Fort Berthold Community College in 2007. Farron and Sheila Lockwood welcomed their son, Farron Dean Morsette in 2008. His son was his pride and joy; he enjoyed spending time with his son when he had the opportunity.
Farron worked at various jobs including: Alco, Parshall Lumber, Better B’s and Wrangler Café. He enjoyed doing outside work and light labor. He was so helpful and would lend a helping hand when he could. He enjoyed spending time with his nephew, nieces and cousins. He had a special bond with his aunt, Rhonda Foote. He loved to visit about everything and anything. He liked listening to music and was a dedicated fan of the music groups I.C.P. and Twiztid.
Farron mostly enjoyed playing video games, riding bike, skate boarding and watching WCW. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a heart of gold; he was always looking out for those close and dear to him. Farron will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Farron is survived by his father, George Morsette, Sr. of Bismarck; son, Farron Dean of New Town; sisters, Charlene Smith and Kristin (Daniel) Chase of Parshall, and Jana Rae and Shondale Morsette of Bismarck; brothers, Nathaniel Fox and “Sunny” George Jr. of New Town, Kaylum Morsette of Parshall, and Jarrell Morsette of Bismarck; aunts, Merle Smith of Minot and Sherry Johnson of Pierre, SD; uncles, JD and Charlie Smith, Joel and James Morsette, all of Parshall; numerous grandpas, grandmas, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Farron was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Fox; step-father, Keith Fox Jr.; brother, Randy Morsette; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Funeral: Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Veterans Memorial (Red) Hall, Parshall
Wake: Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m. in the memorial hall
Burial: Memorial Congregational Cemetery, rural Parshall
