Mr. Kirby L. Elliott, age 84, passed away Monday afternoon January 16, 2017 at Grace Health & Rehab in Grenada, MS. The family will receive friends on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until service time beginning 2:00 p.m. at Tillatoba Baptist Church in Tillatoba, MS. Interment will follow in Belen Cemetery, Belen MS.
Mr. Elliott may best be recognized as a long time barber of "Kirby's" in Marks, MS. He was an avid coon and squirrel hunter and loved his dogs. When he was not cutting hair or hunting, you could find him in the garden growing vegetables that he loved to give away.
Mr. Elliott is survived by his wife, Lorine Elliott of Tillatoba, MS., two daughters Robin (Jack) Wright of Dallas, TX., Susan (Greg) Collins of Sardis, MS., one step-daughter Teresa Price of Huntsville, AL., one son Kirby Elliott Jr. of Senatobia, MS., two step-sons Melvin & Doyle Price of Huntsville, AL., one sister Patsy Howe of Marks, MS., Four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a hosts of sister & brother in laws, nieces & nephews also survive Mr. Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis & Alice Elliott, son Todd Elliott, step-son Kenny Price, sisters Janette Stovall and Dixie Barrentine.
