Services Held For Edwin O. Arnold --
Funeral services for Edwin Oscar Arnold, 86, resident of Estill Springs, were conducted Sunday at 2:30 from Watson-Huffman Funeral Home in Winchester with the Rev. J. G. Love officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Arnold died at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro last Friday following a long illness.
He was a native of Rutherford County, son of the late Jeff and Jody Ring Arnold and was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.
He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and was a Spanish-American War veteran.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lida Arnold; seven daughters, Mrs. Joseph Holt, Mrs. Thurman Dickens, Mrs. Jo Martin and Mrs. John Mason, all of Estill Springs. Mrs. Robert Matson of Austin, Texas, Mrs. Jack McKelvey of Florence, Alabama, and Mrs. Eddie Hodge of Decatur, Georgia; two sons, Marvin C. Arnold of Austin, Texas, and James Arnold of Fayette, Alabama; 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
