Mr. Darrin Cole, age 49 of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday evening, January 11, 2017 in Elkton, Kentucky.

He was born February 10, 1967 in Todd County, Kentucky the son of late Clark Reed and Carolyn Cole. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He graduated from Todd County Central High School and was active in the band where he then continued as band booster for 20 years. He loved God, life, family, people, wood working, band and his first love was the Elkton Fire Department where he served for 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Carolyn Cole of Elkton; three brothers Robert Timothy Cole (Lisa) and Chris Cole all of Elkton and Vinson Reed of Florida and six sisters Gayle Cole Marchetti (Tony), Diana Burgos (Willie), Na’Kita Barrow-Kennedy (Steven) all of Elkton, Ka-Rista Job (Michael) of Michigan, Vivian Harding (Bill) of Lexington and Vaneice Haddock of Kentucky.

Visitation with the Cole family will be on Friday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 at the Todd County Funeral Home. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at the Providence United Methodist Church in Elkton with Rev. Jessica Hawken and Shane Hessey officiating. Interment will follow at the Providence UMC Cemetery in Elkton.
