OBITUARY.
News of the death of Mrs Elsie Annie Knox, wife of Mr. Thomas Knox, of Kangaloon, which occurred at the Berrima District Hospital, Bowral, on Saturday afternoon came as a great shock to her many friends throughout the district. Although she had not been in good health for some time, it was not thought that there would be any serious development, and a fatal termination was quite unexpected. The late Mrs. Knox was in the prime of life, being only 33 years of age, and was beloved by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance. A husband and six children, the eldest of whom is only ten years of age, are left to mourn the loss of an affectionate wife and mother. The remains were interred on Sunday afternoon in the Church of England portion of the Bowral General Cemetery, the funeral being very largely attended. The service was conducted by the Rev. T. H. Distin Morgan.
