Mr. Adams was a retired paint contractor and a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Opal Usrey Adams; two brothers, Embry A. Adams and Billye L. Adams, both of Monroe; four sisters, four sisters, Miss Bernie Adams, Mrs. Kathryn Dever, and Mrs. Ruth Phillips, all of Monroe, and Mrs. Ruby Dyer of Pensacola, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Jack Barnett, Robert Ross, Trig Gilky, W. M. Stokes, Jack Armstrong and W. M. Ellerbee.
Honorary pallbearers will be men of the Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ.
