Dolores V. (Wilson) Gable, 86, passed away on April 3, 2012, at home with her family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of the late William McMaster and the late Lewis E. Gable. Dolores was born in Alexandria Va., on December 13, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Shaffer) Wilson.

She worked as an examiner for Dallmyer's Sewing Factory for many years prior to retiring. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her son, Dennis and daughters, Linda, Sheila, Bonita and Teresa ; 13 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Ura Jean Wetzel of Dover and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Pamela Sue Gable; and her grandsons, Derrick Sponsler and Jeremy Smith.

Following cremation the family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N Main St. Spring Grove. Interment will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Asera Care Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd., York PA 17408; or the American Cancer Society, 924-N Colonial Ave., York PA 17401.
