Born July 26, 1922, in Sabula she was the daughter of the late Eli and Mary C. DeLong Solada. She was married to John R. Uren. He survives in Sabula.
She was a member of Sabula United Methodist Church.
She lived all her life in Sabula and was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Florence is also survived by two sons, Rick L. (Kris) Uren and Tom Uren of Sabula; two grandchildren, Jonathan Uren of Sabula and Brittany Volosky and husband, Mark, of Sabula; two great-great-grandchildren, Zach and Dominic Volosky.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Solada.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, and from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home with Pastor Harold "Butch" Brunner officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
