Ciera A. Kolb, 27, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday November 9, 2016, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was born July 5, 1989, in Champaign, Illinois, a daughter of Richard "Rick" Kolb and Gigi (Busch) Chase.
She was currently a student at Columbia College, where she was pursuing a bachelor degree in Psychology. She planned to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Ciera was a licensed massage therapist and worked in a chiropractor's office in Jefferson City. She loved making jewelry, archery, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved visiting her grandparents.
Ciera is survived by her father; Richard "Rick" Kolb of Jefferson City; her mother: Gigi Chase of Anchorage, Alaska; one brother: Zachary Kolb of Anchorage, Alaska; a niece: Billie Lee Kolb; her paternal grandparents: Joe and Mary Jane Kolb of Wardsville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends. Ciera was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Joseph Frank Busch and Marilyn Ann Busch.
Private family services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. A Celebration of Life Service for Ciera will be held for the public at a later date. Entombment was held at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery Mausoleum in Wardsville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Missouri Atlatl Association.
