He was the husband of Corolla E. (Bollinger) Bagenstose.
Born in Hamburg, he was a son of the late William H. and Annie L. (Dalious) Bagenstose.
Bagenstose had been owner-operator of the former Bagenstose Typesetting, Reading, for 20 years and afterward had been employed by Reading Eagle Company, retiring in 1977.
He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Bryn E. Bagenstose, Blandon; a son, Kenneth C., Reading; and two grandchildren.
Also three sisters, Emma L., widow of LeRoy Porter, Womelsdorf; Esther M., wife of John Q. Meniser, Robesonia; and Elaine L., wife of Richard C. Lenhart, Dryville.
