Attached clipping from the 1909 Pahiatua Herald reports the coroner's inquiry into the death of Thomas Scrimshaw age about 63 after wrestling. One of the witnesses is G.P.D. Scrimshaw, and it is noted that he is a son of the decreased. He stated that when his father had a few drinks he fancied that he could wrestle anybody who came along.
