Alden M. Hippert, 72 of White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. was a son of the late John D. and Elizabeth Richardson Hippert. He was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church at White Sulphur Springs, the Alleghany Lodge No. 136 AF&AM, and the Rotary Club. He was a former mayor of White Sulphur Springs, and served as member and secretary of the Greenbrier County Board of Education, and was an employee of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway for 38 years. His wife, Edith Anderson Hippert died in 1958. He is survived by two sons, Glenn W. Hippert of Beckley, W. Va; and Albert M. Hippert of Vero Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Allene Hippert Rains of Arlington, Va.; and six grandchildren.
