Eva Christine(Moore) Murray, 84, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 4, 2012. She was born on June 14, 1927 to Murry Brown Moore and Lithia Elizabeth (West) Moore in Mississippi.
She was married to J. C. Murray for 53 years. He preceded her in death in 1998.She was a resident of Athens, Alabama for 32 years. For the last three years, she was a resident of New Market, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three children - Hank Williams Murray, Dorothy Murray Helms, and J. W. Murray. The following siblings also preceded her in death, brother Murry Martin Moore, sisters Velma Elizabeth (Moore) Jones, Bobbie Nell (Moore) Chenoweth, Josephine West (Moore) Dunn and one granddaughter.
She is survived by daughters Bobbie Newell of Athens,
Alabama and Eva (Ricky) Armstrong of New Market; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.

The funeral service was on Wednesday, March 7, in the chapel of the Hazel Green Funeral Home. The services were conducted by Rev. Donald Terry. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery of New Market, Alabama.
