Little Oleta Clifton Passed away April 27
On Thursday, April 27, just as the day was one, the gentle spirit of little Oleta Clifton passed away. She was one year, ten months and nineteen days old and the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. O. C. Clifton who lives about six miles east of town.
In January she swallowed some object which lodged in her left lung, and although her parents carried her to Dallas and then to Stamford for the treatment she was brought home where she was nursed by love ones and friends til the end came.
Her pilgrimage here was short and she has gone in her purity to a better clime. So fond parents, think of your child then, apt as dead, but as living! Not as a flower that has withered, but as one that is transplanted, and touched by divine hand, is blooming in richer colors and sweeter shades than those of earth.
