Crofton - Services for Ewald 'Bill' Boecker, 62, Crofton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church here. The Rev. Bob English will officiate with burial at the parish cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 128.

The son of Frank and Catherine (Vering) Boecker was born Feb. 17, 1938, at Crofton. He graduated from Crofton High School in 1956. After serving in the U.S. Army, he returned to Crofton and worked for Hesse's Inc.

He married Marlene Paulsen on Sep 20, 1960, at Yankton. He worked for Hesse's Inc. for 40 years as a salesman.

He was survived by his wife, 3 daughters and their husbands, 1 son and his wife, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
