Kenneth Carr, age 81, of Brownwood passed away February 19, 2014 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Baker officiating, interment will follow at Rising Star Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to service from 9-10 a.m.

Kenneth was born on August 17, 1932 to Claude Wayland and Vivian (McKinney) Carr in Bronte, Texas.

Kenneth served in the US Army during the Korean War. He moved to Brownwood in 1993. He loved garage selling and reading books.

He is survived by his children, Glenn Carr, Claudine Carr, and Vivian Carr Izer; sister, Freddie (Carr) Lee; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, and cousins.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Carr; son, Wayne Carr; two sisters; and one brother.

Memorials can be made to charity of one's choice in honor of him. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
