Clayton Stoddard is the reason we started researching the Stoddard family. Clayton is my grandfather but I never knew him, he died before I was born. There was always a mystery about him as my Grandmother never spoke of him and some of his eight kids didn't remember much about him. We did find out that he wasn't home much but was the best father he could be to his kids. He was a veteran of WWI. Rest in Peace Clayton!
