Mother Harriet lost 2 babies as infants before 1900 census
and probably another causing reason for her 1903 death.
Later as she was in the St Joseph's Infirmary Dallas Tx
her grandau says "in 1903 she died leaving five young children still at home, youngest being abt 5, 7, 11, then 15, 21, 23 and had been ill for some time. My Aunt Sis, Missouri Leah, then took charge of younger siblings to take care of and foregoing to get married. My grandfather went to Ft Worth and took care of her and sat with her there until she died. He was only about 20. Was an infirmary as they were called for those spa'ing or with a long term condition. I thinking she had a miscarriage and died from that. My uncle said his mother (dau-in-law of H. Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ramsey-Strahan) said Lizzie died from female problems due to prolong excessive bleeding allot. She was only 46 yrs old.
There are a couple of small markers in their cemetery plot with initials on them. They are listed in their family bible as dying Sep 1887 and another Sep 1891. Will get pics soon as can get back to the cemetery after this move."
