Elco J. Ray, 63, of 1813 Reuter died Saturday at his home. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Waco Memorial Park, the Rev. Ed James officiating.

Mr. Ray was born June 20, 1918, in Oklahoma and lived in Texas most of his life. He was married to Evelyn Cooper in 1937 and moved to Waco in 1969. Mr. Ray was a self-employed paint contractor and a member of the Odd Fellows lodge.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Pearl Ray of Waco; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Chisholm of Wichita Falls and Mrs. Brenda Windham of Valley Mills; a sister, Mrs. Inez Insall of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren.
