Hodge, Stephen Andrew, 56, of Gilbert, AZ passed away on March 27, 2016. Steve was born in Gary, IN on April 4, 1959. He was the 9th out of 11 children born to Wilbur and Mary Frances Hodge. In 1977 he graduated from Calumet H.S. and then attended Bob Jones Univ. in Greenville, S.C. He married his college sweetheart, Cindy, in December of 1978. Steve worked for General Dynamics (formerly Motorola) for 30 years, as a highly-regarded engineer. He loved to hike and travel. Steve enjoyed blessing his family and friends with his many talents and abilities. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; their daughter, Maria (Scott) Gates, his two grand daughters, Kinley and Emery Gates; his son Brandon (Rahel) Hodge; and his daughter, Jamie (Josh) Toth, and his third grandchild, Jula Marie Toth. Steve has 8 remaining siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service in his honor will be at Sun Valley C.C. in the chapel, on April 9th at 1:00 p.m. Steve's ashes will be buried at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schenpf Farms in QC, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the ongoing ministries of Sun Valley Community Church.
