Hannah was a daughter of Thomas N. Wood and Ann Reading. In 1838 she married William Reading Montgomery at Trinity Church, New York, New York. They had three children. Hannah wrote her will on 1 June 1881 in Bristol, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her will was proved 14 February 1888.
